In India, Kia is raising prices across the board as of April 1

The premium automaker Kia has revealed a price increase for the whole range. The corporation has officially acknowledged the news and said that, effective of April 1, the models would cost three percent more than they do now.

This is the year’s first price increase, which will probably last for many months. It will affect the present lineup, which consists of Carens, Sonet, and Seltos. The firm has said that rising commodity and supply chain-related input costs are the reason for the decision.

The Company’s Senior Official Says this:
Chief of Sales and Marketing Hardeep Singh Brar of the firm commented on the choice, saying, “At Kia, we consistently strive to deliver premium and technologically advanced products to our esteemed customers.” Nevertheless, we are forced to enact a partial price raise as a result of the ongoing rise in commodity prices, the unfavorable exchange rate, and growing input costs.

Additionally, he said that “customers can continue driving their favorite Kia cars without a major dent in their pocketbook because the company is absorbing a significant portion of the increase.”

Sales Data for Kia
With the recent release of the upgraded Sonet and Seltos 2.0, Kia has seen an enormous surge in sales in the Indian market. About 1.16 million units have been sold by the firm in India and internationally.

Best in Class
The popular product Seltos has surpassed 613,000 unit sales, according to the firm, marking a new milestone. Carens has sold 159,000 units, whereas the technologically advanced Sonet has sold 395,000 units.
