The Election Commission is now keeping an eye on the movie trailer after it received millions of views in only two days for allegedly utilizing the Jana Sena Party’s insignia. The leader of the Jana Sena Political Party is Pawan Kalyan. He established it back in 2014. A particular sequence in the newly released trailer of Ustaad Bhagat Singh suggests the promotion of his political organization, Jana Sena, against the backdrop of the impending Lok Sabha Elections.

In a thrilling teaser, Pawan Kalyan becomes enraged after a goon smashes a tea glass tumbler. He is shown in the video picking up a piece of tea glass and declaring, “The glass represents our army, not our size.” An army that is unseen. Interestingly, the Jana Sena Party uses a glass tumbler as their official emblem. The opposition claims that this is an election breach as a political party’s electoral emblem is displayed conspicuously.

Mukesh Kumar Meena, the chief electoral officer for Andhra Pradesh, said in a statement that he has not yet seen the teaser and hence cannot comment on the dispute. It would be deemed political advertising to hold up a tea glass during a commercial. Such political advertisements are possible. That is not restricted in any way. But these kinds of ads need permission in advance,” he said. The teaser will be examined by the Election Commission.

“We will notify the film team if it is a political commercial. According to Mukesh Kumar Meena, they need to submit an application for pre-certification.
