<p>The captain of the Punjab De Sher squad, Sonu Sood, remembered a previous CCL game in which Manoj Tiwari had made a play. “I remember a hilarious incident when I hit a shot in the air on the field and within moments Manoj was under the ball,” he said News18. I cried out, “Please, just drop it.” However, he chose not to, and later on, he amusedly smiled and said, “Sorry, paaji, sorry yaar, ghalti hogaya,” approaching the crease.</p>
<p>Sonu said, “For me, Celebrity Cricket League is more than just a game,” in reference to the League. We actors get a chance to come together and enjoy ourselves tremendously both on and off the field. I can’t wait to see what this new season has in store for us all.</p>
<p>Salman Khan, the Mumbai Heroes brand ambassador; Riteish Deshmukh, the Mumbai Heroes captain; Sohail Khan, the Mumbai Heroes owner; Venkatesh, the Telugu Warriors brand ambassador; Akhil Akkineni, the Telugu Warriors captain; Arya, the Chennai Rhinos captain; Sudeep, the Karnataka Bulldozers captain; Mohanlal, the Kerala Strikers co-owner; Indrajith, the Kerala Strikers captain; Manoj Tiwari, the Bhojpuri Dabbangs captain; Sonu Sood, the Punjab De Sher captain; and Boney Kapoor, the Bengal Tigers owner and captain Jissu Sengupta, are among the celebrities connected to CCL.</p>
<p>The exciting competition, which will take place over four weekends and include twenty thrilling matches that appeal to a broad audience beyond cricket enthusiasts, will be live-streamed beginning on February 23, 2024, only on JioCinema.</p>
