<p>Shah Rukh Khan’s year was definitely 2023. For the first time, the actor—who had previously starred in two successful blockbusters Pathaan and Jawan—worked with Rajkumar Hirani, one of the nation’s top filmmakers. Although Dunki, his picture, had a poor start at the box office, it quickly gained momentum. The director, who co-directed the movies PK and 3 Idiots with Aamir Khan, recently talked out about both Shah Rukh Khan and the actor.</p>

<p>Rajkumar Hirani said in an interview with the entertainment website PinkVilla how similar Aamir and Shah Rukh are. Similarities: both put forth a lot of effort. Both have a strong sense of commitment to their careers and the movies. Since processes might vary, each actor will arrive with a unique working method. Someone will contribute significantly to past debates, someone will be spontaneous, and so on.</p>
<p>“So styles may vary, but I don’t think the commitment or integration to the project is any different or any less,” he said. I don’t believe there are any disparities in that at all as each performer is unique.</p>
<p>Director Rajkumar Hirani of Dunki says in an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha that Shah Rukh knew the film would not make the amount of money that action stars like Jawan and Pathaan earned, even though he was certain the comedy-drama would win hearts.</p>
<p>“Shah Rukh was looking forward to Dunki after doing two back-to-back action films,” Hirani explains. He was pleased to be working in this manner. Being a wise guy, Shah Rukh knew that audiences preferred action movies and following a trend. He had always advised me not to anticipate enormous box office receipts at first. He was aware that it would take time for the film to get traction and that families and viewers would ultimately become interested. He was the one prepping me more than anybody else, and that’s precisely what happened. Several families have been seen gathering at cinemas to see the movie.</p>
<p>The ensemble cast of Dunki includes Shah Rukh Khan, Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover, all of whom play vibrant characters. A presentation by Rajkumar Hirani Films, Red Chillies Entertainment, and JIO Studios, produced by Rajkumar Hirani and Gauri Khan Dunki, which was written by Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani, and Kanika Dhillon, is now available for viewing on theaters.</p>
